MEC Scholarship Opportunity Now Open – May 1 – June 1, 2026
The PCAFI Ministerial Excellence Center (MEC) is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities designed to support pastors and their families as we advance God’s Kingdom together.
Available scholarships include:

PK (Pastors’ Kids) Scholarships – $2,500 awards for pastors’ dependent children attending accredited colleges or universities, renewable for up to four years.

Bishop D. Rayford Bell Pastor‑Scholar Grants – $2,500 annual grants for pastors pursuing advanced theological studies at ATS‑accredited institutions, available for up to four years.

Ministerial Excellence Center (MEC)
In an era where researchers are heralding the decline of the Church in the United States of America, the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International (PCAFI) is committed to prayerfully and innovatively advancing God’s Kingdom for maximum impact. The vision for the Ministerial Excellence Center (MEC) is precisely in line with that commitment—to support the wholistic flourishing of our pastors for personal and ministerial excellence. Since our founding in 1957, local pastors have been and continue to be the lifeblood of the organization, especially given our unique denominational polity. At present, over 700 lead pastors and their respective congregations comprise the ever-growing and increasingly international body.
Ministerial Excellence Fund (MEF)
The Ministerial Excellence Fund (MEF), awarded to the PCAFI in 2022, comes from the generosity of the Lilly Endowment’s National Initiative to Address Economic Challenges Facing Pastoral Leaders Phase 1 planning grant. It exists to enable the financial and personal flourishing of pastors and their families, to enrich and maintain their overall well-being. The MEF is administered and evaluated by the executive office of the PCAFI.
